The history of Formitalia is a commercial success story. The brothers David and Gianni Overy, who founded it, have competently built a strategy. Already the first collection, which was released in 1991, left no doubt: the buyer is offered a frank luxury. The upholstery made of Florentine leather with alligator and ostrich embossing, metal trim in gold, and logos depicting the profiles of thoroughbred horses spoke of this.
And the very name - Boutique Collection - testified to the exclusivity. New brands and collections were added step by step to the company - among them, for example, Tonino Lamborghini, Aston Martin or Mercedes-Benz Style, they were created in collaboration with brands associated with luxury. In recent years, the commercial success of the company and its licensed brands has been ensured by their distribution through a network of boutiques in more than 50 countries.
